Keithly Creek Cemetery

(Five Cemeteries in Washington County, Idaho)

(From the transcription copy) - "The following records of burials in small family cemeteries or burial plots and larger cemeteries located in the vicinity of Midvale in Washington County, Idaho were compiled by Paul E. Jacks, Midvale Cemetery District Secretary-Treasurer, by copying tombstone inscriptions, interviewing relatives, writing hundreds of letters, and searching many records. These were compiled about 1954. It is to be remembered that in early days, families often buried their dead on family plots laid out on the family farm. In the course of time many of these small family graveyards have been forgotten and eventually lost completely."

Inserted (in italics) are names and dates and family information supplied by Lois Fretwell who is the daughter of James E. and Elizabeth Wiggins Parke (below).
